Gitai (Gitai means biological mimicry in Japanese) is an art book collection with the theme of "object’s mimicry" by a Japan based designer, Tomoyuki Koseko. By applying the concept of biological mimicry to objects, he visualizes new experimental graphics and archives them as specimens through an annual art book publication. The purpose is to raise new thinking by connecting two different images through visual comparisons.
An experimental design project that overlays maps from various countries to generate fictional snowflakes. When you gaze at it, a beautiful world of snow unfolds, where the shape of each place mimics the patterns, offering a variety of captivating landscapes.
