A prequel to the modern Battlestar Galactica series, Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome followed the young William Adama, fresh from graduation, as he joined the crew of the Galactica. This model depicts the Galactica as it appeared in Blood & Chrome, with a larger array of gun turrets and more extensive armor plating.
Adama had hoped to be assigned to one of the Galactica’s Viper fighters, but instead found himself piloting a Raptor transport ship. Though his post seemed unglamorous, it was no less dangerous – Adama soon found himself stranded on a hostile planet, in dire need of rescue by the Galactica.
Designed with the help of the Galactica VFX team, this Galactica model captures every detail of the redesigned title ship in hand-painted die-cast metal.
