'Ishango' is a small, independently published ethno-mathematical feminist revision of the Book of Genesis, as inspired by the works of Claudia Zaslavsky. The chapbook is illustrated by Irish artist Rachel Feury, with graphic design by Cecilia Noiraud, and is a rewrite of the Book of Genesis in the style of the Kings James version (and Paradise Lost). It incorporates the supposition that the Ishango bone maps the menstrual cycle and that this knowledge overturns the violence perpetrated against women throughout the bible.
